Blue Lagoon and so on

8 Sep. Today I got up at 4 A.M because my flight was supposed to depart at 7:15.

I flew to Iceland. After I arrived at Iceland, I bought SIM card. I could use Three SIM card in Northern Europe, but it doesn't work in Iceland.

I bought Vodafone's one. All you have to do is to insert SIM card but, in some phones, you need set APN.

First I went to Blue Lagoon. I had made a reservation for Blue Lagoon. It includes transports from airport to Blue Lagoon and from Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík. But it doesn't include entrance fee.

I knew that, but I didn't know a reservation for entrance recently become essential to get in the Blue Lagoon. So I had to wait for a while. You should make a reservation in advance if you will go to Blue Lagoon.

After Blue Lagoon, I went to a accommodation which is a dormitory. I will stay here for 5 days. I was surprised because we need extra fee for a blanket. I have never stayed a hostel like that.

After that, I went to the center of Reykjavík by walk. It was quite hard because of the weather. I didn't know how strong the wind is in Iceland.

I used to think that British weather is the worst in the world, but maybe Icelandic weather is the worst.

I checked a weather report in Iceland and was disappointed.

Until this time, I came to dislike Iceland. I thought if I were to live in Iceland I would go into depression.


Then, I went to a restaurant whose name is 'Old Iceland Restaurant' in the downtown.

What a awesome! All of them were very nice. I ordered lamb stake. I have never had such a delicious lamb. I thought if there is this lamb in the world, I don't need beef at all!

One of the waiter recommend me a red wine whose name is 'Adobe Reserva Cavernet Sauvignion Chiie 2013'.　It was rich tannin and very matched my lamb. Everything was perfect.

I came to like Iceland a little bit.

I visited a restaurant which is famous as a location for filming 'Kamome Shokudo'.

7 Sep. The ferry which I got on arrived in Finland at 10 A.M. and I arrived at my dormitory at 11 A.M.

I was afraid I didn't have enough time to see a lot, but finally I could visit a lot of places.

 I wanted to have my hair cut, but it was closed though it hadn't been closing time yet. That was a shame.

Kamome Shokudo

This is the place where famous Japanese movie 'Kamome Shokudo' was shot.

I ordered a cinnamon roll which appears in the movie and it was nice.

There is a Japanese woman. She has  lived in Finland for 5 years because her husband is Finnish. I asked her how she met your husband.

They met in Starbucks when he traveled in Japan and he picked up her. It is a shame that I can't drink coffee. Anyway, I enjoyed talking to her.

After I had the cinnamon roll, I left the restaurant. But after a while, I visited there again for a dinner. I had reindeer stew. It was nice as well.

And finally I have to confess that I have never seen that movie.

Accommodation

After I went back my accommodation, I went to the kitchen. There are about ten people there. I was surprised because almost all of them spoke very good English. If they were in my school, they would be the highest level. Sometimes I couldn't understand what they said. That's a shame.

I felt that my English level was still quite low. Anyway it was a good listening lesson.

Stockholm City Hall, Vasa Museum, ABBA Museum, and so on

6 Sep. Today I was busy because I had only 6 hours for sightseeing.

First, I went to City Hall which is famous for the place where the Nobel Prizes ceremony takes place. This time, I just go to the tower in the building and looked a good view.

Next, I went to Vasa Museum. It, it was awesome! What a big vessel! I found that I like this kind of huge things.

The layouts are also quite nice. There are a lot of ideas for exhibit as well.For example, one of the exhibits used a projection mapping.

I wish there were a Gundam Museum which were this quality in Japan.(Gundam is Japanese animation where there are a huge robot.)

After that, I went to ABBA Museum. I felt the quality of the museum was quite high, but I'm not an ardent fan of ABBA. So I didn't enjoy so much. if you are an enthusiastic fan of ABBA, you definitely can enjoy this museum.

After I went to ABBA museum, I went to City Hall again to join a guided tour. I was happy to look a Blue Hall where the Nobel banquet takes place.

After that, I went to a ferry landing because the departure time was coming. I could manage to take a ferry on time.

There was a PS4 room in the ferry. 

There was a club as well.

I didn't think about dinner. I checked about a dinner in the Ferry on the Internet. Most people recommended a buffet in the ferry, so I decided to go to the restaurant and enjoyed it.

I was completely full. After I took a rest, I went to the bar and danced for one or two hours.
